Definitely a tourist location but for great reason! They had so many options that all looked amazing. The line moved pretty quickly despite the sheet number of people. We got canolis and they were so big and delicious at every bite! The facility is cash only which meant that we had to hunt down an atm after 5 pm. What a gem of the North End.

I heard from a few people that I have to stop at Mikes Pastry when in Boston, for a cannoli or 5! They have so many flavors of handmade cannoli, and many other pastries, cookies, cakes and options. Have been to Boston a few times and never made it here until recently. This spot is a cash only place, so keep that in mind if you’re planning on visiting. Food wise, I tried the chocolate chip and nutella cannoli and y’all. They were SO good. The shells were the perfect texture and the filling was rich and sweet without being overpowering. The portions sizes are fairly big and luckily I was able to split these! On the service front, the ladies working here deserve some sort of award. They were not only efficient but hilarious! Worth checking out!

This place looks like a run down bakery, but it’s stuffed with baked goods. And it’s obvious they spend their time cooking and not trying to look the best. We got the plain cannoli, the Italian rainbow, a ricotta slice and a small lobster tail. The cannoli was sweet and creamy, with only the shell needing to be a little stronger to be able to eat this without making a mess. The rainbow was tasty, but when you’re here don’t waste your stomach with this one. The ricotta slice was like the cannoli but with a different crust. The lobster tail was a puff pastry filled with a light sweet cream filling, this was tasty so get the large.

Get a table… If you don’t want to wait in line just go in have someone at the coffee bar seat you. They’ll bring you menus and you can order anything you want. They serve espresso faster than Starbucks. Pro tip- walk by the case and take pictures of what you want then show it to your server. The cannolis are filled to order. Delicious. Limoncello and Amaretto cakes. Delicious. Lobster tail is delicious and feeds three people. Is this place a tourist trap. Yes. Is it good, absolutely. Cash only.

Pat was awesome! My family and I stopped in Boston for a few days before heading to Acadia and Canada. Looking for things to do, we found this little gem in little Italy. Pat was a great host, put together a fantastic private tour, and the food and drinks were amazing. He made sure we had mocktails for some of the people in our group. Such a great way to explore and learn more about some of the North End hot spots! Pat was an absolutely fantastic tour guide and provides an experience at busy restaurants and bars that you simply can’t get on your own! I bought this tour as a gift for my sister and her husband a while back, and they loved it so much that we had to try it for ourselves. Would absolutely recommend to any group. Cute and homely bakery in the Italian part of Boston, just on the tip of North End. You will probably navigate to another bakery closeby, but this one is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Timings don’t show accurately on Google Maps since the lady at the counter doesn’t have access to update the timings, so if you’re in the area – just go and check it out. They are open overnight, bake their own bread, have madeleines, cookies, rugelach, shortbread, and some pastries and pizza too. Prices are very reasonable too. Must try their whole wheat baguette, it’s so fresh.

A very busy intimate Italian Cafe. The Espresso Dupio and Pistachio sponge cake was phenomenal! This is a must stop in Boston if you are visiting! Fantastic Italian food at a good price point in North End Boston! Food: we really enjoyed both the pasta and the pizza dish. The pizza is not really European-Neapolitan, but for the US pizza it was great – loaded with flavor and not greasy. The pasta dish was wonderful – tasted fresh and amazing with a strong tomato flavor. We went on a Monday night and it was half-full, the staff was nice and attentive and the service pretty fast. The Italian music and the nice homey decor made it a classic Italian adventure. Would Definitely recommend this place and come back anytime!

We went there for lunch, for a work related celebration. Exciting menu: many different pizzas and baked dishes. Food was good, not the best pizza in the world but I liked that it was not oily, or salty, as you know normally with pizza and lasagna (in the US, at least) you expect very oily dishes but this was different. Everything was freshly baked and very nice. They also serve pieces of freshly baked bread which you can eat with pepper and olive oil and it was a very tasty starter. Overall it was a friendly and nice, clean place. I liked it a lot and if it was not for the difficult parking situation in that area of Boston specially on weekends, I would be back tomorrow! 😉
