As an ice cream addict, I can confidently say this is the absolute best ice cream in a 10 mile radius. Maybe even 50 miles. It’s so creamy & flavorful. I had the maple grapenut & was knocked off my feet. I sat outside & ate every crumb. Then I proceeded to tell everyone I know! Run here y’all!!! + I only ordered one scoop & it was huge!

I was excited about Lazy Bear opening in the neighborhood from the moment I received the zoning notice, so I can’t believe it’s taken this long to write a review. The ice cream is delicious and they’re always coming up with new flavors to try, staff is friendly and helpful, there’s a great ambiance (and cute outdoor seating space), and it has excellent hours (open until 10, which is perfect for when that 9:30 craving hits). My favorite item is their lazy bars from the freezer. They always have a unique selection with new flavors to try. My husband and I have gone in on a Sunday and bought a bunch to share throughout the week, that’s how addictive they are. Thanks for adding such gem to the neighborhood, Matty and Maggie!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting Boston. Healthy salad and pasta options, enjoyed the baked wings. Reasonably prices, fresh/quality ingredients, great proportions for the cost. Great summer salad, not a huge fan of the cheese but that’s just personal preference. Also tried the vanilla ice cream, highly recommend the ice cream. Would visit again for sure.

I recently visited Picco in the West End while in town for a business conference, and it was a phenomenal experience. This place serves some of the best pizza on this side of Boston, and the service was impressively quick. Our server was attentive and on top of everything. From our table, we could see the pizza oven and watch the chefs make everything from scratch, which added to the wonderful atmosphere. Been there a few times, really great ice cream. I recommend the 5 scoop sampler of you have a person to share with or so. The quality is really creamy. Surprisingly our fav flavor (tried 10 flavors so far) was grapenut! Paid Street parking.

I enjoy the non dairy ice cream flavors, mint choc chip is the best! The staff are polite and efficient. Lizzy’s is one of my fav spots for a treat!!

Here, I write about the local restaurants and dishes that capture the true spirit of our city, from beloved neighborhood joints to the latest up-and-coming spots. And, of course, I also take the time to rate them based on everything from taste to atmosphere—because who doesn’t love a good ranking?
