If you want to try some of the best bars in Boston, you should go to jm Curley. It’s at 21 Temple Place in the center of Boston. It’s known for its American food and drinks. You can get beer, boozy shakes, and cocktails.

jm Curley offers a wide range of dining experiences at prices from $20 to $300. The good value for money is consistent across the menu.

At JM Curley, the food is the best. The menu has many tasty dishes that people love. Darron W. Jones loved the “best rangoons” and wings, but said it can get loud on Friday nights. It’s less crowded on Saturdays.

The brick interior of JM Curley is great for diners. Mehran Irdmousa liked the setting and the grilled Brussels sprouts with peanut crunch, and the Curley Burger with crunchy pickles and a sesame bun. Despite feeling the burger could be spicier, Mehran rated everything 5/5 and expressed a desire to return. Friendly service is another hallmark of jm Curley. I’m not sure how I’ve never come across this place before but I’m glad I did! I was in search of a good burger – this place came up and did not disappoint! The atmosphere is great, service was fast and really friendly! I got beer but the cocktails looked SO good, I definitely want to go back to try one. I got the Curley Burger and it was so good! The fries were also delicious and they gave a good amount! My server was great, very friendly and welcoming. My only small complaint is I didn’t get sauce on the burger and asked for a side of BBQ and got charged $1, I know it’s only a $1 but if I’m paying $21 for a burger with no sauce you’d think I could get a side of sauce at no charge. This however does not stop me from giving the place 5 stars or from wanting to return to try a cocktail and one of their other dishes!

Great location. Fantastic ambiance with that rustic brick look. I ordered the grilled brussel sprouts which was amazing with the perfect peanut crunch. I also got the curly burger with regular fries
Whole the burger could use more salt and spices, it was good with the crunchy pickles and sesame bun. Service was great and attentive. Will come again.

The Quiet Few is the perfect bar, and it’s not just due to the fresh beer and the friendly, lively service — but due to the food.I have never been to an establishment that has perfected the burger and chicken sandwich until now. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich is perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crisp and heat. However, the star of the show is the burger – specifically the Hell Yeah burger. The Tam!!! Some things never change, or only change slightly. Thank God for that, actually. Some places need to remain somewhat sacred. Like the Tam. This was my grad school bar when I was at Emerson exploring my MFA. (I graduated over 18 years ago). Not much has changed since.I’m haunting Boston this week, going to venues that have completely changed ownership or look or vibe or menu, etc., and the only thing that the Tam seems to have changed is its prices. I certainly don’t expect them to have dollar draft, and it is so wonderful to know that this Boston institution remains, with good strong drinks and a no-nonsense attitude. Don’t expect a bunch of bridal parties to come in here and start ordering girly drinks and screeching and ruining your buzz. You are safe from the woo girly parties here.Best dive bar in town!Don’t forget it’s cash only.Take the orange line T to Chinatown and walk. Don’t bother to park. Or drive. Amazing experience! Ive been looking for real Tapas and this place was perfect-
and the waiter we had was awesome, super helpful and understand and just the
nicest guy.Detailed review:We could tell this place was VERY busy, a huge crowd
of people waiting inside near the door and outside (though we did come on
mother’s day Sunday). Good thing we booked a reservation a week in advance— i
would recommend this especially for busy times.Starting with drinks – nobody in
my party ordered wine (despite it being a wine bar) but the non alcoholic
cocktail was lovely and the peach lemonade was delicious- i could tell it was
freshly squeezed and so nice with the dishes.Paella takes longer to make, so I
recommend immediately ordering one to share and then ordering your tapas after.
The vegetables were delicious, the scallops with peas and the pea pods included
were perfect. The meatballs were a great approachable option for kids who may
be afraid of seafood, but also for adults! The croquettes were soft and cheesy
and crunchy on the outside. The chimichurri with the chicken was perfect and
the bread here is crusty outside and soft inside, and a bit like sourdough.

This place truly blew us away. From the beginning, everything was stellar. The bar top service makes it a fun experience, where you can watch the bartenders who are also your servers, make beautiful cocktails. Our server, Jake, was wonderful at explaining the menu and giving us his favorite choices, while also imploring that if something sounds good to us, to just order it because it’s all fantastic. And he was so right! We had the tuna crudo, Caesar salad, Jamaican beef patty, ribs, sea bass, tandoori chicken and both desserts. We also had so many cocktails, and even off the menu cocktails Jake would create on the spot. The food was SO fun and flavorful, mixing Indian and Caribbean flavors with super fresh seafood and ingredients. Each dish was better than the next and we truly didn’t want to leave. I’ll be dreaming of this dinner and will go out of my way to make it here again. Add this to your hit list and don’t be surprised when it’s the only place you want to go for the rest of your life.
