Hey! I’m JQ Louise
As someone who’s spent my entire life in Bosteon, I’ve always had a passion for exploring my hometown of Boston and sharing my favorite local spots with others. After years of writing for publications like Forbes and Boston Herald, and serving as the editor for Time Out Boston, I realized that I wanted to create something of my own—a place where I could focus entirely on what I love most: local restaurants and food culture.
That’s how Boston News Cafe was born.
I started this blog as a way to dive deeper into Boston’s food scene, highlighting the hidden gems that might not make it to the glossy pages of bigger publications. Here, I write about the local restaurants and dishes that capture the true spirit of our city, from beloved neighborhood joints to the latest up-and-coming spots. And, of course, I also take the time to rate them based on everything from taste to atmosphere—because who doesn’t love a good ranking?
I love most: local restaurants and food culture.!
