We went home with a souvenir glass and some great memories. After the tour we sat and had flights at the outside sitting area. Got to taste some flavors that aren’t sold anywhere else. A little rough around the edges but ultimately not a bad experience. Came here with friends while visiting the city since they live locally but had never stopped in.Coincidentally we came by on trivia night so the place got packed pretty quickly. We ended up out on the balcony to find a quieter spot (definitely recommend the balcony regardless for its views). The BBQ was just alright, a bit bland for my tastes and the beer was also just kind of middle of the road. The staff were very friendly and did us a huge favor when we forgot our card at the end of the night and were really helpful in making sure we got it back.Really enjoyed the Museum of Bad Art (MOBA) that they host, a really cool draw to bring people in.

What a great space and atmosphere! Obviously, we went straight to the roof deck to relax and see the Boston skyline. We were greeted immediately and had IDs checked, got a quick guide to where everything was, and then went upstairs for drinks. They do have a bbq counter there also, and it smelled so good! All the staff we interacted with were really nice. The beer was okay, and the frozen lemonade was tasty. The neighborhood (if you know the area) isn’t the greatest, but there’s not much that can be done there, unfortunately. The parking can be difficult too, but it’s certainly worth a revisit, especially for those view

I can’t really give a review on the food or drinks since we only stopped for the Museum of Bad Art. As far as that goes, it would be more fun if it were organized more like an actual museum but the descriptions for the paintings are let funny. I wouldn’t make a trip for the MOBA but, if you’re in the area, it’s worth seeing. If I’m in the area again, I’ll try to go when I’m hungry so I can try their food and drinks.

huge location with a lots of beers on tap as well as food.I think the first part to remark on, is just how massive this place is, 2 stories, lots of seating. This would be a great place for a big group hangout. They have an assortment of board games as well as a shuffleboard table. There are multiple bars so you’re not beholden to one location. The kitchen is on the first floor, you order online and pick up at the counter. The food is quite good – the pretzels were delicious and the salad was huge.I personally did not enjoy the beer offerings too much, they don’t do flights, but they do small pours. I think it is a solid location if you like Mighty Squirrel beers

Came here with family after Fenway. What an excellent choice! We had a couple of breweries while indulging in loaded nachos, tacos, and lobster rolls. The food was amazing with large proportions making it easy to share. The lobster roll definitely took me by surprise and tasted like ones I would get from Seaport. You order from the QR code and pick it up at another window. Same with the drinks. Highly recommend for families or larger gatherings of friends as they have lots of board games and activities. Also very big place!

New to town, but not a new brewery. Humongous space, with lots of nooks and different seating styles. Enjoyed the beer. But, it seemed like the beertenders may be stretched versus the crowd size (consistent lines at the bar). Food can only be ordered as a separate tab via QR code. It’s pretty fast and fresh, but the website can run slow if crowded. Solid brewpub and gathering place.

First, I’m surprised an operation as widely known as Downeast is running out of a place as small as this but, what an operation it is!The tasting room is set up in their production warehouse (where every can of their cider comes from) and seats ~40 people or so. It’s definitely an industrial feel and due to the space only 1 tasting flight is allowed per person (with 4 samples per flight). The coolest part to me was the opportunity to try experimental flavors and provide feedback about them as well as flavors exclusive to the taproom. While I’m not normally a cider person they had non-cider “cider” options that were really delicious, especially the bomb pop and orange creamsicle flavors. And if you want more than just a flight there is a place across the street that has their beverages available in larger quantities/sizes.

As a longtime fan of Downeast Cider, visiting their cidery was a dream come true! Although the indoor section only offered one flight, it turned out to be a delightful experience. Sampling their diverse flavors while sitting by stacks of cans created an incredible atmosphere. The real highlight was their outdoor tasting area by the water. Watching the sunset while sipping cider in comfy chairs was simply magical. Don’t miss out on the overboard option—it’s now my favorite! Crossing the river for this experience was definitely worth it!!!

Stopped in, just killing some time. We started with the eye IPA, a favorite style. Honestly, the beer was missing the spicy edge we look for in a rye but it was fine. Next we tried Beginner’s Mind. That brew was a revelation – it shows what can happen when you don’t feel compelled to brew to defined styles.
